Hello All,

New to Star Citizen. I have seen a lot of youtube videos before joining. I have played computer games for a long time but never dabbled into Star Citizen. The concept really excites me. Hence jumped in despite all news about delays and bugs. Looking forward to joining the community and doing a lot of learning.

Regards,
Starooqi

Welcome to the TEST party @Starooqi ! I just saw your thread asking about ships before this 1, so I welcomed you there as well. Silly me.

Since you know about the bugs & glitches already, my best advice is to find ways to lol at them now, because once most of them have been ironed out & the game goes live, people talking about the bugs & glitches will be a bit of an inside joke among those of us that have endured them. Such examples like rubber banding to the degree that it seems like your player or ship has gone bungee jumping, having your ships ladder help you find the inside of an area through the floor (sometimes not with the best health effects in the process), clipping issues like helmet hair, accidentally having your ship enter a quantum jump, while leaving all of the crew on board outside right where they were before the jump began. While many of these seem annoying as possible at the time, they're funny when seen from a distance.

Welcome to Test - despite all the quirks, bugs and glitches, you do learn your way around them, there is a vast amount of really great stuff to do, and they generally don't get in the way as much as you might initially think. The devs do keep showing steady progress, and are making something on a scale no other game comes close to. And this game isn't like the usual AAA stuff where you play for a while, complete it or get bored and walk away and rarely come back. It evolves in real, fundamental ways as it progresses towards release, and it's great to watch that progression.

So, glad to have you here for the ride!
