Would love to, but without everything off I do get some screen tearing. So 90 fps with tearing vs. 60 fps vsync w/out tearing. . . First world problems! :/
Made an updated Guide for StarCitizen performance - this should help everyone's overall performance, specially on lower end rigs.

Yeah a 144hz monitor would solve that issue. Its so uncommon for anyone to use 60hz monitors i forget it can even be a thing anymore.
Tried out all settings outside of Nvidia settings. it was an excellent improvement in performance! Thank you @VelvetDiamond !

Maybe there's another setting issue somewhere then, as while not quite 144hz, my monitor IS pretty decent at 120hz with a G-Sync compatible* Freesync Ultimate engine. . . It's this one:

God this reminds me, really gotta get a new pc setup lol.

I'd think the very worst HDDs would be the ones which increased capacity with Shingling capacity boosting mwthods.
But yeah, for SC SSDs dramatically improve load and performance :-)

Yeah man. Like I'm talking 1-2 decades old HDDS too. I'm definitely gonna get some SSDs very soon, and a new screen so I can actually use a new graphics card.
I dont think I've had an actual HDD in my system for like 10 years now, i went full SSD ever since the r9 290x was a thing from AMD. I constantly forget HDD's exist still :')

Huh, interesting. Vsync should not cap you to anything other than your monitors hz but it can cause your max FPS to drop and input lag. Other than those in your case it should run at 120fps cap with your monitor. Not sure what would cause it, never really had any experience with tearing before, literally never had it. All i know for a fact is its best to keep Vsync turned off.
When its turned on it can cause Higher Frame Times, Increased Input Lag and Hard Cap your Frame Rate, can also cause on screen stuttering because of these things.
SC's implementation of it is terrible.

The videos are longer than most, and not game specific, but he goes in depth into what each setting actually does, to include evidence and benchmarks. (Which is why everybody else, being lazy and making assumptions, tells you to set 'Power management mode' to 'Prefer maximum performance' but he states to set it to 'Optimal power'.)
