There's an empty orange cargo container downstairs in the BIS Expo hall, in an exhibit about the CDF, labelled Party Supplies (or something similar - I know that's not quite it). It's one of those from the Siege of Orison events with a numeric keypad that accepts a 4-digit code.

People in this Spectrum thread are trying to brute-force the code, and are also trying every clue they think they might have found in the Expo halls, the sticky note in Jimmy's locker and so on, to open it, and see what's in the box: Locked container at IAE expo hall - General - Star Citizen - Spectrum v5.17.0 (robertsspaceindustries.com)

And they already know (or at least believe) it's empty, because using the third person camera you can get a look past the surface texture.

This game either attracts a certain sort of masochist, or it does something to us.

(P.S. Favourite not favorite because 🇬🇧).

Love it. CIG just plops down an empty crate with functioning pin-pad on it. People brute force it open despite the code being non-constant.

Revenge for the Banu Cube brute force perhaps?
