I have watched a few episodes, and liberties were definitely taken. The first few episodes of season 2 make me quite annoyed as Reach was under a massive seige by the time Sword base was infiltrated by Covenant forces, in the show they kind of make it seem like it isn't the Area 51 of the planet with how little attention and concern is displayed.I recently started watching this show & I'm several episodes in. So far I'm enjoying it, though some of the things have given me the feeling that they've taken liberties with changing the lore here & there based on the games, but I haven't played them in quite a while. So I could be wrong about that.
Ahhh, Master Chef.Plus Master Chief rocks.
You're not. They have designated this the silver timeline of the halo universe.they've taken liberties with changing the lore here & there based on the games, but I haven't played them in quite a while. So I could be wrong about that.
1) I didn't know that about PedroAnd yeah certainly one’s ability to act is hampered by a helmet. You note Mando but Pedro Pascal almost left the role when they explained he needs to keep the helmet on. He had the same complaint.
I can’t say these complaints have much value to them. I’m enjoying the series.

Okay fine, I'll give it a chance. But if my heart gets broken I'm going to blame you.I just can’t get over how real it looks. That was not live action though. This above is the live action TV series.
It feels like you are seeing something utterly impossible happening right in front of you, as she leaps up the side of the 150’ chasm 30’ at a time.
If your heart gets broken over a show, let me know & when we can get our characters drunk in the Verse, I'll by you 4 rounds of drinks, 1 for each valve. Sound fair?Okay fine, I'll give it a chance. But if my heart gets broken I'm going to blame you.
There have been two Judge Dredd movies, one where he takes the helmet off in the first five minutes, one where he keeps on.Em. . .so your complaint is the actor of Master Chief didn’t know who that was before he took the job?
You know that’s pretty common, right?

I agree 100% & I enjoyed both as well. There have been two Judge Dredd movies, one where he takes the helmet off in the first five minutes, one where he keeps on.
I like them both but the '95 movie took liberties with the source material the second didn't - it's a testament to Carl Urbans prowess that he was able to swallow his pride and do the source material it's due justice :-)
This was even referenced in the 2021 Xmas special Dredd strip where the counter-reality movie versions of the character ended up in the comic:

If the second movie had got the budget to make the visuals and future-setting of the first one it would have been the definitive Dredd moving picture.
Hahaha, virtual drinks for virtual heartbreak, I like it.If your heart gets broken over a show, let me know & when we can get our characters drunk in the Verse, I'll by you 4 rounds of drinks, 1 for each valve. Sound fair?
Well, if ever CIG grows the balls to install virtual strip clubs into the Verse, we'll be enjoying those drinks there. Because very few things help heal broken hearts like incredible distractions, in RL or RP.Hahaha, virtual drinks for virtual heartbreak, I like it.
Halo:The Fall of Reach or Halo: First Strike would have both been incredible to adapt.I'm just a little let-down because of the fact that Halo had SO MUCH to go off of that WASNT the games. The Halo Book series is pretty damn good with lots of interesting side-stories.
