What ship feels the most fun to fly? (in your opinion)

I've loved the Raven for a long time, previously for the unique look, now I just have a ton of fun flying low and fast with it. It's also stealthy as hell, so waiting for a partner to take down someone's shields, then popping their powerplant with the EMP is great. I can sit 2km away from most ships and still be in full stealth.

Drake Cutlass.
I do own a couple of ships but when it comes to mileage its a Drake Cutlass variant that comes out on top.

The durability is crap, yes. And it flies like a donkey at times. IF it flies.
But every flight is an adventure and it gave me so many stories to tell... :-)
Overall utility winner is the RED.
Though there's nothing as stylish as doing bunker runs in a BLUE.
(Even though the cigarette lighter NEEDS to be fixed)
:glorious:

Avenger Titan Renegade is my goto (thank you @DirectorGunner ) especially in a fresh Evo patch, and it's logged the most flight hours of the thousands I have in game purely due to it's utility.

Raven is my favorite ship and in some patches it's stealth has earned much $$ and rep. It certainly feels the lack of hardpoints in use though.

Multicrew it has to be the Valkyrie, and even more so now with the recent buffs.

Even after all this time it's the 350r. It's not as good as it was (nowhere near it's heyday in 2.4/2.6)... but it's still good. The acceleration is off the chain, 0 to top speed in something like 2 seconds the last time I flew it, that saved my skin more than once, tootling along and as soon as I hear shooting hit the loud pedal and I'm near instantly going faster than most missiles can fly, hell faster than a bunch of projectiles and energy bolts can fly...

The F8 is damned agile too. The 400i/600i keep changing to draw much of a conclusion on but the Freelancer is surprisingly chuck-aboutable too...

While we are talking Classics.
I was fooling around with a MISC Reliant Kore all weekend. This thing needs an Update bad and my eyes are watering from the <Disco Glitter> (TM) of the cargo grid.
But apart from that it's a surprisingly great little bugger.
One of the best cockpits ever.
Flies nice, smooth and nimble.
If you want to go Kopion hunting there's actually no better ship.
And with 6x S2 Ardor salvaged repeaters it pops small to medium enemies before you can say supercalifragilisticexpialidocious !
Something like 3800 DP/s on a light fighter is pretty good.
And it's a pretty small target along 2 Axis. And a barndoor on the last one.
Also it can touch down pretty much anywhere an Avenger can rest it's wings. This includes the 890Jump hangar.
I'm seriously considering getting a Tana for real.
Though the Kore got one thing going that the Tana doesn't.
Only 40s respawn timer... :-P

I used to do everything in my Cutlass Black, but after getting the Anvil Hornet F7A MK II, the combat mission have been great fun with that.

If I just need to get from A to B, I might use Corsair, though I just bought an in-game vehicle specifically for quick relocations, umm, what was it, A1 spirit, which has a lightning fast claim time of just over 2 minutes as well as access to S2 quantum drive. A pretty awesome combo if you need a ship you can spawn quick and then travel with quickly and far. And now that I check in-game, the ship got removed from my account on the last patch. Thanks CIG. >_>

Hercules C2 is pretty cool if I want to do hauling missions, Hull C too for like trading.

+1 for the Pisces! I upgraded my aurora MR to the ambulance version, but was flying the standard one long before that, as I had a rented one stuck to my account for years along with an arrow for some reason.
Short claim time is awesome, saved me from a lot of headache not too long ago.
I miss the cargo space of the standard version, it was awesome for hopping down to planetside for bunker missions and loading up with loot, but the medical suit isn't bad either.
It's super easy to fly and land anywhere, and really hard to strand yourself by uneven terrain, compared to my C1. The two tiny laser repeaters have a wide gimball range and great for hunting down anything on the ground. Works well for kopion hunting too!
If I just want to fumble around, I usually choose that little wedge.

The C1 Spirit is pretty damn okay as a daily. It's not as agile anymore but still okay at fending off NPCs.
The reason I'd choose this over a ton of other haulers, and I tried some fan favorites like the Taurus, are two qol things: you can park it right up to any cargo elevator with it's ramp nearly touching the elevator itself, so it takes minimal time and effort to load. Reason two, if for some reason you can't back it up to a cargo elevator, the tractor beam on the back is there to save the day. For my space trucking oriented gameplay, it's just perfect.

I’m still loving the idea behind the TAC, but I really wish it held a second Fury instead of the 8 jump seats, and it really should have large radar and fuel tanks. Also, it would be better to put the 2S5 guns for the pilot and have matching 2S4 turrets. That’s a small quibble though.

If the TAC held 3 Fury, 8S2 missiles (2 quad launchers) instead of 4S3, and had bunks for 6 plus captain’s quarters, they would have got it right, IMHO.

So it may have been Mr.Beam's influence the other night but I melted a few of my dead end ships in favor of a large barge....Polaris.
Why I am kinda liking it?...Standing far far away and killing off the VHRT and then stashing all that fine cargo in it. Took a bit to figure out a fast way to get from the bridge to the torpedo console but as cool as it is I'm still loving the Starlancer and its ability to do a little bit of everything.
Who am I kidding...
Where is my Beer Wench:drunk:
