That’s sounds like sooo much fun bounty hunting with your better half. Will you guys have a name for your bounty hunting service? Who ya gonna call? Bong Hunters?
We're thinking more Killjoys than Mandalorians.

We will cross contested jurisdictions, find who or what you're looking for and bring it back to you in the condition requested. Nobody knows who hired us but everyone trusts us because our agents are guided by one principal, one code.
We will take no sides, we will take no bribes, the warrant is all.

Well, it it was two brothers....Bong Brothers Bounty Hunter Services (BBBHS)
Richard Bong was a World War II Fighter Pilot that flew P-38s. He is the US Ace of Aces. I named the character after him, but then changed it to Quinton McHale (As in McHale's Navy).
Vanguard and Retaliator. :)

Someone in McHale's Navy sounds much more like someone who would be in Test...that or Hogan's Heroes

I always imagined the Liberator as a craft of many in some large scale invasion force. Think D-day. Id hate to be caught outside of a convoy with that one even with the 2 escorts it can bring.
If you go that far as flying a megaton of bricks through the athmosphere then you might as well bring a Drake Ironclad Assault.
At least its got a small repair facility and with some luck that detachable command module might just survive the more embarrassing accidents. :-)
Seriously though, once controll surfaces are a thing i wonder how you fly a Liberator in athmosphere. Probably like that Boing they used for the SpaceShuttle.
THAT was a tricky flight with only the fairest weathers allowing for a take off.
Probably gotta send your escorts first and follow them down. But that would degrade the Liberator to a mere jump shuttle.
Tricky...
For me the Liberator is a way for us to move our base of operations or go long range bounty hunting with our Hawks. It can also be used to resupply an Idris with fighters.

I much prefer the aesthetics of the Asgard to the Connie. I’m curious what will fit. With a crew of 5 on the ground, do you want an Ursa or a Nursa? Can you also fit a Greycat? They’re more agile. Would you want a Nox or two? They’re faster and more stealthy. How much room you have decides in some measure your choices.

As a data point and nothing more, last night I was doing HRT missions in a stock Asgard. Some observations on that:

It goes through boost quickly in the current iteration (4.2 for future folks). Even without boost it's agile for size.
It's a fat target that has to tank a lot of hits. If you've got boost and can maintain some range, it's possible to avoid some fire.
Targets that can put turret pressure on you WILL melt your shields if you stay too long. Awareness to NAV OUT is required.
Armor is a good thing. We need it.
Even 6 size 3's feels light against some targets. NPC Valk's have a lot of hitpoints and turrets that have no problem hitting the Asgard. Position helps cut the incoming damage while you grind.
Having a gunner in the lower turret would DRAMATICALLY improve damage output, enough to make HRT's in Pyro lucrative for those so inclined.
It has nothing for the backside, but does carry a truckload of countermeasures.
There is plenty of space in the back to clean up the battlespace afterward, if you've left anything to loot.

For the ground game we've fit a Nursa, MTC and Fury together in the back without much effort; there are plenty of videos on YT that show what can go.

I think I've found my medium hauler.
