I don't know if anyone's read the book, but it looks like a movie's coming out for it next year. If it's half as good as The Martian, it should be phenomenal. I really enjoyed the book. I have to caution watching the trailer if you haven't read the book though. The trailer feels like it dipped a bit into the spoilers category. Here it is though if you feel like a watch.

That looks like fun, haven't heard of this tale but yes, they could have cut the trailer with a split second reveal of what he found when he got there and that would have been far more compelling and a lot less spoilery.
100% agree - it's a really good book - I'd put it second to The Martian in Andy Weir's works - and I can't wait to see the film but whoa, SPOILERS, trailer-editors!

I definitely understand that one. I really, really dislike reality tv shows. In spite of that, I have seen an absolute ton of seasons.

Of the three books I have read of Andy Weir, this is number 2....but it's a far number 2 from the Martian. That said, it's VERY much ahead of Artemis, which I found...lacking. It was the second book of his I read and I almost wrote him off completely.
