I mean, the whole hassle of negotiating a better deal,
getting the new simcard you need to keep safe for a few days until the carrier is ready to switch over,
getting counter offers from your current carrier that are really rather tempting but you're sorta sick of them so you'll need to turn them down anyhow,
then noticing the simslot has taken some damage and it's stuck,
trying to file away the damage and noticing that's quite futile,
taking a mallet so you can apply more force to the sim extraction tool,
bending the sim extraction tool because you applied too much force,
then taking a powerdrill to your simslot because at this point why wouldn't you?
and while doing that you'd really want to use 1mm drill bit but your powerdrill is only really designed for 2mm and up,
so you need to jury-rig a makeshift holster for the 1mm drill bit with some masking tape,
then using that wobbly construction carefully drill a hole diagonally into the sim-holder so you got some leverage to force that silly thing out,
and when you finally succeed send triumphant messages to everyone who would listen, and also those who wouldn't, it's your triumph damn it people WILL hear about it,
and then you have to check the default password for the new simcard and change that to something else.
So arduous. Every single time.
