It does not need to be the exact same 970 to SLI.If I want to SLI my card, do I need the exact same card?
If so, you may need to hold onto that one for me until my birthday... next year.
A PNY and EVGA (and insert brand here) will work no problem together. so long as its the same clock and memory it has no issues.Nvidia is fussy, you'll need the same GPU, manufacturer, and model.
Usually each manufacturer has at least 2, the 'base' that is as from Nvidia but with their brand cooler and another that has a custom circuit-board design.
Edit: it appears they have gone lax with the most recent Gen?
I can ship over to AUS but you would have to pick up the shipping on it.Yeah... Dammit Australia. Why you no have decent prices?
The listed price (adjusted a few times) is about as low as I can go (factor shipping and paypal fees).what's the cheapest you can go for a member in the USA?
thanks!
Russian, Thanks so much for putting up an offer like this for TESTies! (I had to get a replacement laptop in order to finish thesis since the old one had a bad hard drive fail. So that personally set the timeline back on me purchasing parts for desktop. :( )Hey guys,
Got my hands on a few GTX 970s that are up for sale at a nice discount for members. These are EVGA Superclocked cards with ACX coolers so a decent uptick over stock speeds and cooler.
Cards are $275 shipped to US48, that being a $30 or so discount over every other 970 I see on the market and no rebates to worry about.
Grab a good card before it goes local, its a NEW card for less than some used card prices.
The last one is on the way to the chilly north we call Canada now.Still got one of these? I should check the marketplace more often
