...don't need to have their certifications to fly your own ships, its just if you want to be in a squad. If you do not, after a certain amount of flying boxes, if your not good enough, they will never let you be a combat pilot and thus not work with you towards any combat related things, like assigning missions or coming to your aid, but from what i've seen they just kick you out at some point if your active but useless.
I recognise this from somewhere...

Is...

Is this a version of the No Homers club?

I think I may use my other account and join them. Just for lulz.

I want to become certified and then take their bigger ships and ram it into all their littler ships!
I had a similar thought, but then I remembered that I'd rather have fun. Also, I don't want to actually have to learn anything. Or be graded on things I'm supposed to have learned. Or willingly work alongside stuck up jackasses.

I plan to use my other account to operate TESTie Spai program!

I am unofficially the Official Unofficial Spai Double Leader Delta Shadow..uhh...Lamda, Betty Davis.

My first "I got SC working!" Experience involved setting cruise towards the sun and never dying... hours I spent trying to exolode in glorious TEST fashion, to no avail
Obviously it was user error.
Totally a user error. He didn't know about cruise at the time. He was flying towards the sun at regular speed.

He actually got up from his chair, left the computer, ate dinner, drank beer, watched TV, slept, went running, hopped on a plane, went on vacation, drank copious amounts of liquor, got sunburned, flew home, drank more, ate breaky, then sat back down.

The sun was no bigger on his screen.

The real beauty of it was that SC didn't crash that entire time.
