Mille Grazie for the coffee! I'm leaning towards getting a carrack too. The way I see it, mining, pirating, and fuel transport pretty sure 90% of players are already going to be doing that and it's fairly predictable what you need to do. As for exploration.... I've never played a game where that was a specific mechanic or way to play. Where and how do you even start???? So it definitely appeals to me. Maybe it will be a bust ,hopefully not, but I really do dig going into and playing into the unknown frontier. So far I also have a starfarer and blade. But yea, if we can team up in a carrack that we be great. I can make coffee too lol.

Thank goodness! Finally somewhere around here that can make me some coffee!

I think CIG has some pretty cool exploration mechanics in store for us. The community has done a pretty good job of cataloging what we know about it so far: https://forums.robertsspaceindustries.com/discussion/38624/exploring-exploration-in-star-citizen-what-we-know-so-far
I'm looking forward to seeing how they expand on the exploration systems.

At first, just floating around in my Carrack, scanning random anomalies, didn't sound very thrilling to me. But when you look at it from a team perspective, where you've got a ship full of people and you're going around exploring derelict ships, abandoned space-stations and alien artifacts... it starts looking much more appealing!

Even the aspects of SC that I first though would be boring are looking better and better to me every day :D

Should be fun to explore with lots of Carracks and Auroras, whole time covered by Beerfarers (unlimited beer supplies, how cool is that??) and Connies (which cargo holes are transporting some casks of whiskey) steered by the kamikaze julus of this world :D

12 p.m. - time to do some sports. Was a funny session last night though I'm a little bid sad that I can only chat. I definitly have to change that anyhow =/

Hey all, I've stayed home today due to some illness shit. Therefore no coffee bar chat today - no boring hours to fill-in while staying in the office :D

Now that I've slept half the day I'll go some Vanduul shooting or the like. :)

A photographer has taken pictures of people which are drunk. To be more specific: first photo at a sober moment and then one more at a time when drank the next glas of wine (max was three glasses - hm, was an expensive experiment, wasn't it?).

Well, I think that proves why TEST is such a fun and successful community - never outta beer (or wine...or whiskey) ;)

Holy shit, thats impressive...well, even the picture :D

Now, dear TESTies sit down and listen/watch well: how can you identify guys with VERY small penisses within the PU?

The solution, simple as it is, nevertheless lays on those guys hand (on the one way or the other :D :D :D):

Casal estimates say that the penis in question owns 300 copies of SC. That's an over compensation of 100! Casual bad math says his weiner is 1/30 of a typical SC backer long. (Assuming we on average own 3 ships or 100-600$ into game). I know @Blind Owl is at 200% and is DEFINITELY over compensating. :D

I'm going to drink this and ponder how math bad I am :P

I was three days behind when I started replying. How's that for math bad? I knew it was Monday. Haha. Oops. We're getting buzzed by the airforce doing low level flybys right now. Pretty nifty.

So yeah, what @CrudeSasquatch says is certainly true. I'm definitely over compensating. But he's my brother, and he has the same genes, so . . . :P

Side note: all that over compensation means I have ships to share with my brother when we hit the verse! Yay.

Morning. Feeling better today; back to work. Coffee anyone?

Yesterday evening I had a strange PU session: it began when I flew around with my Talli, just an evening round through the verse with no fights or else. When I intended to land - and were in to automated landphase - a dumb Hornet pilot meant that it is a good idea to squash himself under the arse of the Talli. Well, long story short: he exploded, I was declared an outlaw. A little bit annoyed, I flew over to the service station to get my ship repaired, when a Freelancer catched me while a was sitting on the landing pat. It hid behind me in the shadows and at the time my Talli was repaired he blew me outta space. Well, I think it is understandable that I was vexxed about this pilot. At Port Olisar, I requested my REC'd Warden an went for a hunt. One, two minutes later, when I was arrived at Kareah, I received a message from another User which was like "why have you stolen my ship?". First, I didn't know how to answer on this silly question. But I was annoyed enough, including some red wine in my veins, to tell him that he might go to a nice place and make himself some happy feelings...
...well, to be honest I told him that he shall go and fuck himself.:oops:
Suddenly, the whole verse went against me: the corresponding pilot warned others that I am stealing ships and calling others "names" which ended into rather ambiguous offers, hostilities and dog fights...which I could pretty good resist until the Alpha crashed and I went to bed; reaaally frustrated. Later that night I asked myself if this guy, who felt robbed by me, if this guy indeed had ordered a ship and I have taken the wrong platform...? But how could he then know that I - "AstroSamatha" - have "stolen" his ship? Is it even possible to "steal" ships when the owner has not opened the doors? Perhaps I should have apologized to this guy? Or was it "space bullying" from the beginning? What do you think?
However, this was the first time of really NOT having fun in the verse. :(

Yes, I will take 1 Toffee plz.

It sounds like you had yourself quite a fun time in the PU last night :D

To answer your question about stealing: No, you cannot steal a ship that has just been spawned. No-one else can interact with a ship you spawn until you first interact with it in some way.

It's possible that he had gone out there and opened the door or something... unlocking it for when you just happened to arrive... but then it would be his fault for leaving the ship unattended. In that case, I would say that loitering around the docks is not a very nice thing to do because it blocks the ship spawns, and you were doing your civic duty leaning up the rubbish :D

If you did actually steal his ship, all he would have had to do was spawn another one and yours would have disappeared. It sounds like he was confused, or was trolling you :p
