I can see your point with the total destruction of the ship Sam, but that's what this is. A wreck of a TOTALLY damaged state of the Idris in space or crashed on a planet. That's what they said it was anyway. I'd be surprised if there wasn't some in between states of the Idris as well...

I think in general the Ghost has lower EM temperature? I think every "small" ship (I don't think you'll be hidden for long in a Starfarer) has the potential of being a stealth ship, as long as you plan your approach and turn off your engines and even shields to lower your temperature to a bare...

I'd still say get a 550d, 50mm 1.8 lens and a Rode Videomic Pro. If you want great video AND audio quality, you should't go for less. You should be able to find all of those things cheap online. It's a rather cheap solution considering the quality of the content you would be able to produce. :)...
