I believe that the F7C does not have an option for the canard nose turret. That is something only available on the F7CM-SH. Don't believe that the F7C has a hardpoint for the nose turret.

On the subject of Harvestables, I understand there are some plants outside of Lorville that are hand pickable. They seem to be few and far between though, but can be detected with the 4 ship types with scanners that work. I have yet to verify this.

Tested the DUR and the Aquila, would not detect resources even after I pulled up to it and had it just off the nose of the ship. Jumped out, went over with Multi-tool and it confirmed it was Shale and mineable. So, looks like only ships with Survey-Lite sensors is it for now.

I have two Prospectors at my disposal if they are needed, as well as a Terrapin and Sen. The Terrapin and Sen can detect resources, but seem to have a shorter range, and show only a square icon for the resource. Prospectors can break it down to either ore or mineral on the scan.

Been doing some pretty thorough testing. Seems that ships other than Prospectors can scan and detect minerals, so you can FPM them. NOTE: Of the three ships that can detect resources, only the Prospector breaks it down into whether it is Ore or Minerals before you arrive at the resource. It...
