    Sandy beaches?

Have there been any planets in the lore, yet, with nice pristine Sandy beaches? I remember terraforming disasters, planet sized cities, industrial waste and smog, but no nice places to visit.

Fleet planning for a Bounty Hunter

Pirates are not the only bounties. "We are a single body, with no allegiance to anyone but ourselves. We offer one, simple service to all of our clients - we will cross contested jurisdictions for you, find who or what you’re looking for, and bring it back to you in the condition requested...

Fleet planning for a Bounty Hunter

The same rationale that makes Lasers have muzzle velocities other than 3x10^8 meters per second or maximum velocity on a starship, or combat velocities that are slower than an F-15.

Fleet planning for a Bounty Hunter

I expect to take most bounties on the ground. If they are on a ship, then EMP warheads on size 3 or 4 missiles would likely be the best choice. Though mounting an EMP warhead on a size 9 Torpedo might prove interesting.

Fleet planning for a Bounty Hunter

I wasn't talking about logging off. I was talking about long flights, living on a ship. The same issues that you incur from riding in a single seat fighter would apply to the troops in a dropship.

Fleet planning for a Bounty Hunter

Is hasn't gotten that far yet. The lack of proper facilities in Drop Ships for troops. to include the Cutlass, implies, but does not prove, they are designed for short term use, at least for those troops carried in the drop seats. (Though the Cutlass, Redeemer, and Retaliator with Dropship...

Fleet planning for a Bounty Hunter

Where did you see that? I guess technically it is active now, since you get paid a bounty for taking out the "Public Enemy."

Passengers in the Phoenix have a stateroom. Well a suite is more accurate.

6 folding seats based on the game play videos from Gamescon and a bug smashers video or two. Apparently Dropship capacity does not count toward ship crew capacity, though I am not sure how that works for Life Support, it does imply it is not a long term solution for traveling. (The Hoplite even...

Fleet planning for a Bounty Hunter

By the same token the Stasis pods could fit in the forward cargo hold of the Lancer and still have room for two Nox in the rear. And the Lancer has the max crew size to run the Lancer and two Nox, where the Cutlass Blue is likely to have to offload half its cells to carry one Nox or Dragonfly...

Does anyone know what the cap on my Hornet Ghost is a placeholder for?

Make sense of what I am saying or make sense of what they are doing? LOL

Does anyone know what the cap on my Hornet Ghost is a placeholder for?

The new ship rules, to go with the new matrix, says where there is a turret, it is turret or nothing. The Ghost can mount the canard, but it doesn't come with one. The ability to mount a single size 3 instead of the Canard, is gone. Now the Wildfire does not list the ability to mount the...

Does anyone know what the cap on my Hornet Ghost is a placeholder for?

My thought is that depends entirely on what that cap is. If the cap is not replaceable with a turret, or if it loses the stealth without the cap, then no, the Sabre is a better choice. The Ghost will be limited to 2 size 3 and 2 size 1. If you aren't looking for stealth then the Super Hornet...

Fleet planning for a Bounty Hunter

Especially when the Lancer you are looking at is mine. I don't anticipate carrying much cargo. LOL. Think of me as your friendly neighborhood Q-Ship. :)

Fleet planning for a Bounty Hunter

I think they pulled the specs right out of the 3.0 build, so they can let the newer builds update the list with active ships. No big deal either way. Yes, the old Cutlass is a bit faster and more maneuverable, but less well armed.

The Black doesn't carry that many missiles or have that many guns before the rework, unless I am missing a hardpoint and four ordinance attachment points on my Black somewhere. :) The rework is supposed to though.

Fleet planning for a Bounty Hunter

The Current Blue has 6 cells, the current Stalker has 6 Stasis pods. Granted the cells have bunks, so you should be able to carry 12 prisoners, but you better be able to pay attention to your prisoners so they don't kill each other in a cell, or suicide. The Avenger is a fighter, where the...

Fleet planning for a Bounty Hunter

You are making assumptions. The difference between the Cutlass Rework and the Lancer, according to the new ship matrix are minimal. The two are closer than the Hornet and the Sabre. The Cutlass is slightly faster and slightly more maneuverable, the Lancer is studier with better avionics. Now...
