I think she was talking about more expensive than with the insurance system. It makes no sense if the ship is more expensive than a regular one.

There are two routes for big money: * Vanduul fighting (rep based as you said, I suppose) * unsafe space control For the later you do not need rep, just a nice org ;-)

Why not two or three of them? And I am not sure if it is, but I think Eclipse uses the same torpedoes as Polaris, so you could restock them.

With a Polaris you can bring an small fighter fleet :-)

There are players with Polaris in their buyback lists. If you trust enough you could purchase one LTI from them. I have one that I think I am going not to keep, but I have to pay 21% taxes so I can not give the same low price other players could.

That is so redundant. Why a ship almost impervious to fighters would need to be defended against fighters?
