Well, not quite saying potatoes are from outer space, it hadn't crossed my mind. I was mostly thinking that the reporter from Express seems to have displayed only slightly more intelligence than a potato, except then I turned it into a chicken or banana. What did cross my mind last night was...

There's a lot more. Potatoes have far more genes than humans, more than even octopi. They taste pretty good too, baked is my favorite. Strangely, I like baked octopus too. Humans share approximately 50% of our DNA with bananas, and 60% with chickens. I think that Express reporter might be...

Do we have an official org car?

I don't think you'd need to, it's a bug. Just get in and make sure the windows are rolled up, then slam the door. The pressure will make parts of your brain squirt out your nose. Not only that but once you get to the pearly gates, you end up going to hell because they ask "How did you die?"...

    Fleet theorycrafting - flagship choice

OH I'm pretty sure it has presence. Something on the order of 480 meters of presence... plus any length gained by "rework" it receives in the mean time. Anyone who can operate one successfully, even with minimum crew has a boatload of friends too. But it seems to me the 890J and Idris pair...

Theorycraft - Starfarer MOAB delivery system.

We might already have something like that. As a member in good standing of TEST Squadron, I have crashed into the surface of Delemar and Cellin numerous times, only to find myself bounced back clear into orbit. I'm told that it might be due to shields that are on our ships. Now, not every...

Well one would hope. Except for something that I just thought of, and if I give it much more thought my gunship will probably find itself melted or upgraded next opportunity: It might even mean you ignore most MOAB's. Bombs, including nukes, are so effective on earth because there is a...

No, at least not in real life.

Yeah good point. Propellantless or very very cheap. If you used conventional rocket motors, you turn each launch into a roman candle. If you launch rail guns, you'd have to also have a way of re-positioning the orbit of the launch vehicle after each launch. Most solutions work into quite the...

This is true, but they have worked out the physics for the USAF study, and that does work. That was the origin of the 20 ft by 1 ft tungston telephone pole. That was the effective size and shape. The problem with kinetic strikes is they become very expensive ways of executing what amounts...

Fear not. You're not really out of beer, you're just separated from your future beer by time and space. And oh yeah, cash. That is why God invented beer coolers in gas stations and beer stores and such.
