What I did was buy one on ebay at inflated price and started using NiceHash to mine and recoup the extra cost. It's not an ideal option, but it does let you get a 3080. Just don't buy a Gigabyte, EVGA is much cooler when mining. Not sure if it's viable now though, back in Jan/Feb mining...
