All this talk had me take my Retaliator out of the hangar, and you know what, it really flies like crap. My Connie flies better. I might have to consider replacing 'ol PT-73. No idea with what yet, but it might just have to go.

It isn't a bomber. It is a freighter converted to be a convoy escort. Call it a poor man's Q-Ship.

Keyboard and mouse. Just because it is "Hands On Throttle And Stick" doesn't mean you can't remove your hands when not flying. I have also tried a gamepad.

Crew of 6 is well covered in military ships with the Valkyrie (5), the Retaliator (7) and Hammerhead (8). Something in the 3-4 size would be better.

The Harbinger is not short ranged. Given the lack of Amenities, the Eclipse is, even with its larger than normal fuel tank.

The only real issue with the Retaliator is the state of turret play right now.

Something with range. Eclipse, Harbinger or Retaliator. If you want more of a fighter, then the Harbinger. If you want to play with friends then I like the Retaliator. I hate the cockpit view from the Eclipse.
