Considering this is likely a guest suite, due to the lack of windows, it still makes sense with it's currently layout, particularly as the wardrobe/hangars are set to the other side of the room and it makes no sense to divide them across the bed.

I think the argument for Origin is that the extra space is justified by it being extra space. It's a selling point of the brand that when paying their prices you get a more open concept. That justification wont work for some, but its the main reason CIG gives.
