    Open Letter to Tiara

You and I have talked before. Yes, I understand your views on stealth. In general I agree with them (other than the Sentinel of course :) ). There is reason to believe the Titan and Stalker will have equal stats later, and the difference will be empty, full of cargo or carrying prisoner pods...

    Open Letter to Tiara

Interesting perspective. I like it. As a counter point, may I recommend the Avenger Titan instead of the 315P? It does everything the 315p does with a little less cargo but is a better combat craft. This way, if you do want to go the combat route it is a competent fighter. If you want to go...

Not worth it at any price. At the rate of development, all insurance is LTI.

    Planet tech question

Well I asked, but I doubt we'll get an answer even if it gets enough votes. https://robertsspaceindustries.com/spectrum/community/SC/forum/3/thread/looking-for-questions-planet-content-team/4880169

IMHO it is both. They fail to show any actual progress, then insult the community by blaiming the lack of progress on them. We have a company that is selling an intangible at some future unannounced date, and has been for close to ten years. Ten years in and nothing is finished. Even the base...

OK, if that Rabbit is ready, the hat isn't empty.

The hangars were either local or individual instances. The reason was it was poor, unmaintained code that wasn't worth the effort to bring up to standard. Proper accountability and leadership makes employees more productive. And the last as long as it takes is not from the outset. It is a...

They open sourced Lumberyard. and now call it Open 3D Engine. View: https://youtu.be/6ccjR9qI5YU Funny, but not surprising, to see Tafi on there. :) I ran Software QA for the other half of that company a few years back.

The problem with Nyx and Pyro is they are reliant on Server meshing, which is highly unlikely to be available this year, much less the next two months. The hat is empty, there is no rabbit. My biggest complaint is nothing is finished. In 10 years not a single thing is complete. Not a feature...

For me, this time is different. And this time they don't have a rabbit to pull out of the hat, unless that rabbit is SQ42.

No. My big games back then were Flight of the Intruder, Birds of Prey and F/A 18 Interceptor.

Roadmap Roundup: Cutting Release View To Show Next Release Only

CIG development is about as agile as an elephant in a full body cast. Agile is about short "sprints" of, generally 2 to 3 week duration focusing on delivering to the customer at the end of each sprint. CIG is using 6 month sprints and delivering half finished code then, instead of iterating...

Never played those. I was never into arcade style games and, I used an Amiga through the mid 90s.

I don't think I would mind so much except they said they were going to build features for SQ42 then migrate them later. SQ42 is a black hole.

Xenothreat - Ares Ion vs Retaliator and Eclipse

I'll leave that for others and fly my Hawk, Sabre or Vanguard, until I can lock an Idris. I'll just use my Eclipse or Retaliator to keep killing Hammerheads and similar in the mean time.

Xenothreat - Ares Ion vs Retaliator and Eclipse

I have tried each of the types. Hammerheads I can lock all day. For some reason I haven't been able to lock up an Idris.

Xenothreat - Ares Ion vs Retaliator and Eclipse

Previously, I haven't managed to get there in 3.16, it took 5 size 9 torps to connect to kill an Idris. I have been having, roughly, one in 3 torps fly off in a random direction. I have both an Eclipse and a Retaliator. In the last Xenothreat, I had a bitch of a time getting a lock on an Idris...

    Liberator Attack Wing

I play with my better half. Our use cases are simple. Long range Bounty Hunting missions with a pair of Hawks. Moving our base of operations, as needed. Putting our combat craft in position to participate in Org combat operations, where the Vanguards are inappropriate. Help other people...
