Sorry, they've already confirmed that docking multiple ships will require them to remain stationary or tear apart the docking collars. However, you could create a jinky space station by docking them all and if you need to move simply undock and fly to new destination and redock.

I've heard if you replace the weapons and shields it works a lot better. The stock shields are bugged. An indirect missile explosion will knock out the engines.

I'm hoping exactly this as well. I originally bought a Cutlass Red, but have since melted it as I don't think it's medical role will fit into the Buc. Besides, the Carrack says it has a small medical unit. Maybe it'll be comparable to the Red, just not be an "ambulance" due to its size.
