Yeah it totally blew my mind. My family’s PC wasn’t powerful enough. Didn’t really play it till much later!

The thing too is that the lore in the Battletech/Mechwarrior universe is so rich. There’s so much that Piranha Games can do with it if they do it right. I’m hoping this game will bring Mechwarrior to a whole new generation of gamers and revitalize the franchise!

Kinda nice that they picked Smoke Jaguars for this game. Lorewise they’re kinda the antagonists of this era. I mean they could have gone with the Mary Sues (FedSuns) or the Uber Soace Marines (Clan Wolf). :o7:

Yeah. IMO one of the Executive Producers/Showrunners (Craig Mazin) is a genius. He's the guy who made the Chernobyl miniseries that came out a few years ago which was brilliant. I think he just has a knack for deviating from source material and still make it 'work' on the screen. Nice guy too...

Haha. Tiny tiny part and I was only there for the final two months! (They started shooting in February and wrapped in August!)
