Assuming the Idris has similar shields to the 890 (it actually has more), just the recharge rate is 14224 hp/sec. That means you can have 5 ions pounding at it forever and wouldn't scratch it :O Not to mention it's shield sits at 1.5M hp. I think when they say Ares are meant for "Capital Ships"...

I'm probably bias towards faster weapons. I forced myself to play in AC with slow weapons, it never worked out well. It's the main reason why I melted all my Glaives :(

I hope they don't destroy PO. It's the best port, no running around for 10mins after re spawn to get to a spaceport.

I'd have to say the inferno if I could only have 1. The problem I have with the Ion is that the guns are not changeable. And that slow fire rate will effectively make it ineffective against smaller ships. It's like take 6 shots in 10 seconds, miss 5 hit 1. I know they are design for bigger ships...

I extrapolated it from the existing S1 to S5 laser repeaters. For every size up there was a 67% dps increase. Edit: If you could put in a S7 laser repeater then I estimate it would have around 2206 dps

If you plan on purchasing one with cash, you can buy them for $177.50 each in the add-on. That's cheaper than a SH. And you get both skins. If you don't want the 2nd one then you can always use it for a future upgrade basically a $42.50 off coupon...

I have 2x Samsung SSD 960 Pro 1T PCIe 3 x4. At the time they were limited to 1T capacity. I think I might have these set to raid 0, I don't remember. You can't run SC with a mechanical drive it takes too long.

Before you get excited, just some data. Ares S7 Laser repeater would do 2206 DPS with 141.8k missiles damage. If you slave the turret on a Warden and use fix S5 it would do 2504 DPS with 47.2k missiles damage. MIS has gimbal 1920 DPS and a turret 598 DPS with 126.8k missiles damage. So the...

Yes I knew I had 64G, but the math didn't click in when I saw only 32% was used. I'm running 4k resolution with very high graphics quality. I have Razer Synapse, Malwarebytes, iCue, Bitdefender, Discord, and Game Glass running in the background. Edit: and the Target GUI for my warthog.
