    From a development point of view I understand what they are doing. Get the world and universe building out of the way first and then working on specifics will be easier. Odds are how the universe turns out will affect multi crew game play in some way.

    On the other hand, perhaps we are to combat focused? During Deep space missions (mining/outpost building/whatever) It would be handy to have a mobile hospital closer by to be able to respawn there instead of having to fly forever to get back to the location.

    I tell my wife that I dont race cars, go to the strip club, Drink/Drive or do any of that crazy stuff. I just game, plus she knows where I am.

    Could it be possible that once you lose a ship in a deep space battle you cannot respawn there? It would make for highstakes decisive battles.

    There has to be some kind of mechanic to avoid that. People with a billion ships will start out poor if that is the case.

    No hanger fees on starting planet. To my knowledge it wasnt clear if that was for one or many ships.

    No. If anything most of them have had slight price increases. The 'sale' portion is that they have made ships available to purchase that are normally unavailable.
