If you eyeball the kraken vs idris is looks to be a good hybrid ship. Less guns that the idris, triple the cargo capacity, and lighter operating crew. I also dont know how fuel storage for ships will work. Will carriers have to carry fuel for fighters or will it be an 'infinite' recharge so...

With the current state of ground missions and the length of time it could take commuter citizen to get back to the same spot the Endeavor as a hospital ship has gone up in value in my mind.

When I spoke to staff on site about the Kraken they called it a civilian Idris. I'd expect it to be cheaper and have generally lesser stats. They said there would be no roll the Kraken would fill that an Idris didnt do better. So it should be cheaper to operate and maintain in theory.
