I'm be down w Arma 3 if someone can help me get it set up for MP. I tried using ShackTac's (official-ish) mod list for their servers, but can't get connected to any of the public servers. Using UPlay instead of launching from Steam. Suggestions? I should probably just reinstall it. As for...

Also, keep in mind that newcomers like me may not be able to do PvP in WoWships. New players seem to be restricted to Co-Op NPC battles until they advance further in the game.

What are the time / server details? Never player WoWships before; sounds interesting. Along those lines, Fractured Space seems to be gaining popularity, but it is not free.
