I quite like both of those ideas. They're a bit far off still, but the second one especially holds a lot of promise. It opens up more opportunities for people to crew ships, as opposed to flying their own.

I still see some people playing it, but nowhere near as many as the first six months. The one friend I had who played it regularly stopped a couple weeks ago.

I haven't played in a while. Add me on Steam, and I might jump in sometime next week. Have to make room on my hard drive first. My NAT depends on whether or not someone's watching Netflix or torrenting something. :)

Well, this happened. tl;dr is basically no micro-transactions til this whole thing blows over. Not sure if that's good or not, but I'll probably play more just the same.

I have had some of my best times so far riding along in other people's ships. I expect it will only get better once you can do more than just man turrets and be a backseat driver. I quite like how people are willing to just let random strangers into their ships and screw around. D'you guys think...

My username is, as always, Sraika. I probably wont be playing much battlefront 2, though. I played a couple hours earlier, and the unlock system is exasperating. I figured people were making a big deal over something relatively minor, but no. It's pretty bad.

I've been using playstation controllers with my pc since the drivers for PS3 came out. I've not tried it with Star Citizen, but there's no reason to expect it wouldn't work. It might take a little fiddling around, depending on how the game processes controller input. Definitely go with DS4...

I find that there's just enough lag to make headshots near impossible for me unless I aim centre mass and track up. Usually by then they've killed me though. As far as dogfighting goes, my skills are all over the place. 80% of the time it's a long drawn-out fight, 18%, I'm dead in the first 30...

I put half an hour or so in, it's kind of... eh. Still, tdm mode was fun. I'll play more tomorrow. OpenTTD is fun. I haven'y played it for ages though.

As a Canadian, I feel obligated to reply to this thread. Still, I'm from Ontario so Alberta's a bit far for me. Like, 35 hours driving far.
