I've gotten kills with the Tempest II's plenty of times, but they take a while to hit, also, the Rattler II's are also decent missiles.

I fly with 3x Panthers, and the Behring, although i dont do a lot of PvP, its great for killing Vanduul and Pirates. but thats personal preference. My cutlass ran a similar loadout.

i like my hornet, its ugly, but putting that big Behring cannon on top makes me soo happy xD

After doing a little more research, the A3 is roughly a 2 year old model, you would be better off with the S7 either version as it was released recently, it will have a few more bugs to start out with but should perform better overall.

Cat comes with a decently well ranged tractor beam, and also, its not meant to be an attacker, its more of a defensive ship, basically, its there for support, or if fighters come under heavy fire, the cat can provide some defensive shelter, thats about it.
