The problem is not with carriers, I think they can earn their keep because of their flexibility. The other capital ships are the problem. The are locked into warring, whether defensive or aggressive.The Torpedoes aren't working correctly at present.

You need to read The Wonderful O , I think that's by James Thurber. Your problem reminds me of that book.

The problem that causes is that they are slow to accelerate, as long as you can get up to speed, their maneuvering is fine. If you look at the Idris with half the acceleration and poor maneuvering, you wonder why such a big target costs so much?

I agree, and the main problem is that her primary weapon is fixed, and she turns to slowly to hit something like aTalis, that combined with poor AA makes her very vulnerable.
