God I hope they add flak or dedicated AA weaponry that can be mounted to turrets on some of the larger ships. I'd love to kit out a retaliator as an interdiction gunboat and run fighter screen for someone in one of the capships.

They already have multiplayer free flight. It's called battle royale in a private match. Just don't shoot each other.

I haven't set up a profile for elite yet, but my SC profile has something like 60 commands. I use probably 20% of them when I remember to turn on VA.
