I suppose it's nothing wrong with firing up the engines, travel a couple of rounds around the block, have people to train/get familiar with onboard systems somewhere safe. These ships will take some time to get to full operational status, which we in the meantime may use ships like Idris...

Totally agreed. This is one of the better things that have happened in the game industry, I sincerely hope the bigger publishers do take notice.

I got lucky after the spamfest, and finally got one at wave 4. So we have 2 Javelins so far?

Hornet, Retaliator bomber, Merchantman, 890 Jump, Idris-M and Javelin...and that's it. Fine stuff to fly while drinking.

I'm looking forward to participate in a Bengal takedown (and guard it) when we get to it. We should be enough players in theory to occupy one for atleast some time. Ohgod, can't wait for this game to go live.
