Well fighters can still soften up your shields to make you an easier target for their bigger allies. But what you really need to watch out for are bombers. Stuff like Gladiators and Retaliators will screw you over. Though the Tali is big enough that you should be able to take it down alone.

*rechecks* owo 7700k is just $330! Sweet.

The ones I've found - 6700 is $300-340, 7700 is around $380-400. I don't intend to do much overclocking tbh, I'm happy with the standard clock speed.

So i7-7700k over 6700k? I'd like to shave the extra ~$75 off if possible, but will it make that much of a difference? Benchmarks I've looked at are pretty close.

And I am just going to be running HD (not gonna splurge on a 4K monitor or anything) so I'm pretty sure the 1070 TI will do fine.
