It makes, based on the video, Squadron 42 look very dated and tired. It demonstrates the problem with such a long development time. I'm not into games I can't play with my spouse (I don't have to play with her, but I have to be able to play with her, so this is likely a pass for me.

Last word from Erin Roberts, (last fall) is Squadron 42 is more than 2 years away. Note that Squadron 42 has been two years away for almost the entire project. I don't see that changing any time in the foreseeable future. There is no incentive for CIG to finish anything as long as the money...

I'm past the point where I truly believe Star Citizen will never get released. It's already showing its age. It will be abandoned before it gets close to finished. Something needs to change. I doubt a publisher can get control, which rules that out.

The stock F-7C is every bit as good as the Wildfire version. It's the same craft with a different loadout and paint scheme. Is there a reason for the significant price increase? Not that I can see.

Combat speed is to be higher, top speed is to be lower. I would think that would significantly impact the race maps, at a minimum.

With "Master Modes" being, according to CIG, mostly done last fall, and that meaning an entirely new flight model, isn't doing an update to Arena Commander first putting the cart before the horse? Given the lower top speeds but higher combat speeds, wouldn't that imply the Arena Commander maps...

Any assets created in engine would likely be a bitch to port. Everything created in Max, Maya, Z-Brush, etc. should be simple to port. However this is CIG and they have lots of issues fixing things that are simply database entry errors.
