Can't argue about turrets in general. But those chin turrets are usually controlled by the pilot. As seen on the Redeemer, the Spirit series, all F7s and F8s, the Terrapin, ...yadda, yadda. The only ones i can think of with chin turrent and gunner controll are the Crusader A2 and M2 ships. Never...
