That's hardly a scientific test. Energy levels, concentration, distractions, and so on can all have an effect on this kind of test. Ideally to prove one is faster than the other, have both the keyboards in one place on the same PC, run the test 2-3 times with each keyboard, then average out...

I plan on getting a Saitek X-55 when they are released. Seems like the best bang-for-buck option. I have heard a lot of good about CH Products, but I find their design very lackluster and boring for the price point, and I hate that it's all hard plastic.
