There is currently an MFD bug, hence the left image. If you land on an uneven surface, the MFD screens don't line up with the 3D model for them after. It'll be updated/fixed when they update the Hornet series.

The entire large wing folds up. The smaller wings will fold up fine, too. That's why there is an arm between the bottom wing, and the engine. See below as an example:
