2.6 to PTU. Subscribers check your email

Go through the sim in any hangar and it will work, most of the time at least.

SM is mostly unplayable for me with double the ping of everyone else, the moment I see someone I'm dead. Also whenever anything happens it stutters for a moment, so still lot of optimization needed before its actually fun.

I haven't tried AC in multiplayer yet as my hud is missing on all ships in all single player modes. Will look into it...

Arc corp has tons of new door animation bugs it didn't have, otherwise its the same as before I guess.

Universe doesn't work, as stated in patch notes, so not much left to test for me. I'll keep trying in AC I guess and post in the council, hopefully some the issues will get resolved before next year and we alll get to play it.

yeah ive loved that it loads crashes significantly faster.

seriously though this is true atleast where the hanger and drone sim stuff is concerned its nice

Well looky there. Seems I got a PTU invite, now just two more hours to finish the download....

Edit: Thought it was too good to be true. Keeps crashing 3/4 way through download, even if I try to verify it.


Edit to the Edit: Found the problem, apparently I am an idiot.... (ran out of Disk Space on that drive).

I don't about anyone else, but Multiplayer AC and Star Marine keep CTD'ing on me. So I'm just going through testing what I can at the moment. Has anyone else came across the same problem?

Pretty much what I was running into also, most times if I get in a ship, I there is not HUD or instrumentation at all, oh and the issues with the mobiglass.

I got it downloaded today. I was able to get into SM going through the Hanger and got killed several times in the one game. I was able to fly a Cat and the Herald after they opened up Crusader. The Cat took a lot of damage before the pirates blew me up. The Herald is not much of a fighter. A could shots and I was gone. The Cat's guns are pretty week right now. Hopefully they will beef them up a bit. It would be fun if they had the dragon fly ready to go at this point.

I had some time to play some SM and it was fun, headshots is where its at. Kept a + KD through the matches that i played. The cat will need an escort since it can't defend itself unless they beef it up.

Well, if the Pirate Cutlass around Port Olisar is any indication, it is a tough ship. Took me forever to take one down, and that was with 3 missiles and popping it with the 870 Mk 3's.

I got an invite email today.... I used the website to copy my account over on Friday and have been happily playing and bug reporting over the weekend...

But I got an invite today!

I think this goes to show, if you are normally in the PTU and you see on reddit that the PTU is live, check your account page, you may be pleasantly surprised!
