yeah i bought one and gifting it to a friend, then convincing him to buy the$5 lx upgrade so he can get the 2 yr insurance and become a backer.

Well, I convinced my friends to finally make an account and pledge and get a LX Upgrade package (before the anniversary sale ends!) Now to find someone who purchased one too many of the $20 packages to give him as an early winter holiday gift. If all else fails, I'll still get him a regularly-priced aurora package!

So I managed to get one, feel a bit bad for keeping it for myself, but then It's at $25 Aurora package (after LX upgrade) where I previously had a $30 standalone ship. Hard to turn the deal fo a $5 discount to get a better package.
