So, they pushed it to live just because festivus?
It feels like it. Then they went on vacation until January 8th(?), which might be a problem if a few issues don't get fixed lickety split like.
During a cargo run, I encountered a server issue (30007 error) which resulted in having to reclaim a ship, and swallow the loss of the cargo, and the UEC invested in it. They're going to need to fix this. But maybe there's something they need to fix first:
Here's a shot of the path from Port Olisar to Delamar. It's like that for the whole way. You couldn't actually fly anywhere when I took this shot. Not quickly anyway. Forget Quantum drive.
This is Port Olisar right after. It's about to be crushed by Mount Everest's twin it looks like. There are 38 ships around Port Olisar, many not in the shot, because it's a partial screenshot, but this is not photo-shopped. There were even reports of a portion of Port Olisar being inside an asteroid on another server.
This is probably due to a simple setting somewhere, but it was experienced by everyone simultaneously, so it wasn't just a client issue. Some people had collisions with the asteroids too. They rezzed right in front of you sometimes, which is Ok if you're traveling slowly but if you're at SCM or AB, you're done for.
