3.0 PTU System Requirements

Does anyone know what the full system requirements are for the 3.0 PTU to run "acceptably"? It would be much appreciated.

System Requirements will change as the developers continue update and optimize the testing modules of Star Citizen. The game's final recommended system requirements and minimum requirements, at launch, may be vastly different to those above.

I have seen some new ones, still searching. At least don't go lower then the old recommended. I have seen something like: without virtual memory, 24GB RAM is minimun, 32GB RAM is advisable

PTU code is even more alpha level than regular alpha code. People with less than 16gb RAM have had problems, since the code seems to be more prone to memory overflows. I agree with @marcsand2, 24GB RAM is advisable, and 32 is even better.

You don't say what your GPU is, as long as it is not older than 2-3 years, you should be ok (although the newer, the better!)

Everything is subject to change as the game continues to evolve and progress. I wouldnt worry about system requirements until they get out of Alpha.

People with monster rigs are still having issues running the game. The problem is more optimization than hardware at this point.

I use GTX 960 on my alienware 17 R2 and it is not doing so hot these days after 3.0 came out. I need to upgrade before i can continue playing(will happen sometime next year.)

While I was playing I noticed it pulling 1.5MB/s of network traffic... so it looks like the net code is still shit.
