If 3.23 contains all the features they have been saying it should come with, then it will be the God-Patch that everyone has been waiting for to show the true potential of Star Citizen. That is assuming that the new Server Meshing features come online along with it. Their combat AI has always apparently been held back by server tick-rate, so if they solve that we will finally get to see the game that they are working with in-house. Exciting times, ladies and gentlemen.

Server meshing is 4.0 and is not included with 3.23, most of 3.23 is just quality of life updates like maps, missions, ui updates and such but nothing groundbreaking just very welcomed and long overdue updates.

No server meshing yet, and the replication layer won't be active either, at least on 3.23 release. It might happen with a 3.23.x patch, so we can finally say goodbye to 30K-s. Or atleast some of them.

Still the new map, compass (probably?), quickloot and such will be welcome changes, and I can't wait to finally see some life hopping around on all those dead planets!
We are also getting our hangars with the cargo lift, right?

I think they are running server meshing in order to refine persistence, but they are not loading more than one system. So meshing but only across what we have had to this point. There does not seem to be much stopping them from opening Pyro. I think they are trying to brush away as many troubles as they can first. Baby steps so we’re not swamped with failures. Reports are very good of performance. Last I heard they had 800 players in one shard. That’s twice what was two weeks ago.

Hopefully it will be as good as it's hyped up to be cos theres a lot of crazy news coming out, like creatures to hunt and fully working dynamic surface map and such wonderful things!
As much as I'd love to agree, remember that most avocado builds are cluster glitches from the new features they are asking them to test out, so those are almost never as great as hyped ... at that point. However, thanks to the incredible work of the avocados, CIG is better able to locate & repair the majority of the glitches before the PTU opens, then with the stress testing of the PTU, more issues are found & repaired before the overall patch goes live. This being said, the more of what's been stated to be included in 3.23 goes well, the more this patch will revolutionize SC for the better. The things that get held back due to needing more time flushing out & dealing with the issues, will always be a welcome addition when they are ready to be included as well.
