on a QD back from Yela empty in me cutty as the server connection was looking a bit rough and i didn't want to lose another load , plan was land hit another server after logging in , then do a cargo run .

But.........on the run back my QD got interupted by 3 pirate ships

cutty black , took a while to kill him

Aurora , well he died quickly

Cattipiller , b'stard thing kept ramming me , but i did kill him also eventually and he blew up rather well

Quick QD to the Cryo place for repairs cost me 27cr for the damage , so 9cr a pop for a pirate kill :ghost:

Quite nice to have chance to shoot something as i can't seem to get into Vandul swarm at all , which sucks as i need to improve my dogfighting skills , someone really handed my my arse earlier , I never saw them or got a shot in , one min i'm flying , next thing engaged and walking home in a bodybag , that sucked :frowning2:

Then you got really lucky. I jumped from Yela to Cryastro in a Sabre... got interrupted 5 or 6 times? I lost count. 2 times it was a Caterpillar, escorted by an Aurora and a Constellation, the other times just a Caterpillar. Killed them all. After that I jumped to Grim, got interrupted again a few times, but on my way to Grim I ignored them.

Hit the Caterpillar from the side. The shields on the rear are stronger then the shields on the side. On the side the Cat also is more vulnerable, you can destroy the engines and still the Cat isn't destroyed.

My last experience in the verse was going to repair at Cryastro after doing a bit exploring and got nuked whilst repairing, not sure what ship it was but damn thing was armed enough to kill me in seconds, might have been a gladiator as I saw a Hornet-like quite far away as I was flying in and no other ships caught my eye.
