35 seconds Idris Kill

In an earlier post, I mentioned one of my kills was much faster. But had no video for it so it didn't sit well for me.
Today the mission finally popped up for me, that means another video!

Full escorts spawn. From the time I launched my first missile (at 1:25) to the destruction of the Idris (at 2:00) is 35 seconds. I lost a few seconds when the torps were stuck and wouldn't launch for some reason.

When TEST gets together to do this, I see it going something like the following:

This is silly. A ship of this size should be able to defend against torpedoes, even size 9.

AI needs a huge performance boost still. This really sucks for Idris and other caps owners if it will be like that for release. 1 tally or 2 eclipse and voila... I hope not.

Amazing. Torps are hit or miss - and the bug where they don’t fire is something I feel in more core. Lining up a sight on a HH or a idris and launching... to not launch. Fear. I then move off the joystick and goto mouse. Nothing. More escorts arrive..... finally I say out loud to Christ Roberts just fire.... and that sweet sweet launch noise gives me reassurance......

And it misses.

None were intercepted?

Yes correct, only 5 torps that time.
No torps are ever intercepted at that launch range for me.

This is probably by design.

They can easily tell the turret AI to shoot at torps with higher priority.

Its already in, but I think they are just playing around with how often the AI turret intercepts the torpedo. They can set it to 100% of the time, but then everybody will get angry that their expensive torpedo ships are useless.
