7DtD is a REALLY fun game now that it has matured more. For the maximum return on gameplay and maximum fun, play with 4 people. 5-6 works perfectly well too if you manage inventory and crafting well with tasks assigned to players (which is easy, just make sure you have everyone working on things that complement one another). Just like Minecraft or Creativerse. You can solo but it will be VERY difficult mid to late game. 2-3 players works too just fine, just make sure that you bring your A-game though haha. Remember that you can adjust the game's difficulty to a LARGE degree!!! This can help the game host balance the game with a lot of options.I have been having a ton of fun, just would be a lot more fun with friends.
Yea, I noticed the version difference the other day. The server is running 16.3 atm. I have had some really bad luck updating the server without a wipe in the past though. So I have been leaving it at a particular version until a patch comes out that really makes wiping worth while. Right now, the patch isn't worth wiping all the hard work we've put into our bases. Every time I have tried, the server ends up bugging out eventually and causing a wipe. It can be tragic if players have put a ton of time into their builds and it all gets wiped before they're finished with their grand project.Heads up, the server needs to be updated to 16.4.
Holy crap, that is great info! I love survival crafting games, or crafting games in general. I love World of Tanks too with its grindy nature. It isn't the grind or my lack of FPS skills that make me upset while gaming, it is having hours of precious invested time just evaporate. I wouldn't update either if it meant losing the fruits of all of that planning, effort and expectation! Thank you for that scoop, Bruttle.Yea, I noticed the version difference the other day. You can run 7dtd on a previous version through steam if you didn't know how to already. All the previous releases are listed as betas in the steam preferences menu. Go to your steam library, right click 7dtd, pick properties, click on the "beta" tab, then pick 16.3 from the drop down menu. Now you will play 16.3 until you pick otherwise.
I'm so glad you said this or I would not be playing the game till someone updated 7dtd.Yea, I noticed the version difference the other day. The server is running 16.3 atm. I watch these guys too. Love the content they put out.I have been watching Neebs Gaming 7 days to die
I would like to get a group together to survive the zombie hoards. I have never played the game but with a good group, it looks like it could be fun.
