Sometimes they wander off and collect near a players ship but this occasion they were all down stairs and rushed me like a gang of Target shoppers on a black Friday shopping event....scary
That's only topped by the bunker missions where you got your 15 nominated enemies (5 topside, 10 in the chambers) and then find out that the guy doing the last mission in this place did no cleanup.
So you got the last guy, mission is finished but as you wander the halls looting you run into a trio of shotgun wielding heavies you didn't expect.
Pro tip: handgrenades and open elevator doors are made for each other.
Now that I think of bunker missions, in 4.0 I didn't run into situations where friend and foe spawn on the same spot and keep each other in check from point blank range.
Only way to break apart that stand-off was by throwing crates or corpses at them and wait for the fireworks to finish.
Kinda glad that they sorted this one out.
