Account locked - any experience or advice?

Mercy this escalated quick....I never imagined my original question to end up in a drug bust story :)

Any thoughts on if it is a bad idea to create a new account with fresh cash to play until I hopefully get my account issue resolved? I'm missing the verse tremendously and have not really found anything to scratch the itch. I've put a lot of time into X4 foundations and as good as it is, I still feel like I'm missing something. I won't have my caterpillar for space trucking, but at least I can do some box missions and mess around in the verse.

I went ahead and bought a cheap package. Now to work building up or borrow a few ships.
