It's sexy and I love the design they went with, but I really think that those claw/wing things will block a significant amount of your forward and side view from the cockpit. The front on view they had for one of the concept pics made it look like the cockpit will have horrible viewing angles so I'm waiting until we have a cockpit concept image or a better view of the concept images before spending any more money.
Just use your RSI get the ship with LTI then sell it back until you are sure so you have the choice for it later.

As pointed out on reddit the defender is a surprisingly poor design shape for a fighter. Since we are mainly using visual sight to fight it has two massive appendages blocking the view.
I was never going to get another fighter but could have been persuaded to trade one for another but just no.

Yeah, I can see potential for big downfalls. If those giant crab arms (parking sensors) block too much view, or have all the power/cooler components in them, like the Reliant has in it's wings, that would be not be ideal.
Personally preferred the Gold/Chocolate color schemes of some of the art over this Silver/Blue, but from the ATV, seems like they want Banu to be more colorful in general.
Sure looks better (to me, anyway) landed rather than flying. Would have been more excited if it was a land vehicle of some sort.
I figure I'll get one or two to have in buyback, just to see what they are like coming out of concept.

I agree, the cockpit would limit the view for both sides. Maybe if they just lowered the front wings at an angle, just enough for it to cover the bottom half of the cockpits? In other words raise the cockpit up just a notch,that way the design wouldn't change drastically and we could see the wings as we fly. Win-Win right?!?!
