Become a guide for new players in Star Citizen!

I think this is a great strategy by Star Citizen in getting new players involved by requesting a guide to help them navigate this enormous game!

The problem: Every few builds some key mechanics change, this makes it difficult to have official tutorials remain accurate over any long period of time.

Solution: Have other players be able to guide you!

A nice initiative, something that in pratical term is olready ongoing via in-game chat, but this provide a poblic hub that have a better visibility and also contribute to show, even to the non player, how SC is evolving.
Bottom up for this hub, I'm looking forward to contribute to them, hope CIG will keep them updated as they should, not like the ship matrix...

Lmao, no seriously this is a great idea, I remember awhile back I had not played in like a year and was just lost, crashing into landing zones etc... there was a guy who offered to fly my ship to another location and show me a few things, it was great and got me interested in actually playing the Alpha again.

About time they made a new player tutorial system... and they have excelled!

Not just a FAQ, not just tutorial videos, but also a community scheme too. Great work CIG, keep this up!

That would be great but only work if all guide have the same guide line, cause interpretation on what work and not in SC is widely messed up among players and most times not accurate.

They told us a year ago they would bring the ship matrix up to current and keep it current, and then apparently never even tried. One of my few pet peeves. Is the natural result though, of reserving to oneself the right to change anything/everything at will. With the excuse we're not purchasing ships but backing development, they can do whatever they like. Still, peeps would like it more of they kept the matrix current.

I should have been paying attention to some of the info outside of their website, like maybe even what actually appeared in the game. It wasn't a combat ship so, I didn't give it enough attention. Lesson learned ,lol.

I have to say though, the discussions here in TEST - and you've been a big part of that - have been an incredible resource.
