I have no plans to be a pirate, and in general I'm going to be pretty against piracy. I'm in it for exploration and occasional fights against people trying to screw with me. Acts of blatant injustice against people nearby or people I know will probably get my attention too, but I doubt I'll be out searching for pirates to kill.
I plan to lightly-to-moderately RP, and my character enjoys a good fight when his blood is up, but after his military stint, he's overall tired of fighting.
That works well for the kind of playing I want to do, too. I have a Constellation Aquila and plan to pick up a Super Hornet when they're on sale again. (I also have a Retaliator that I bought almost entirely because it's freaking cool; I'm not sure how that fits in, though. :p )
