On the exploration mini-game if you click the white circle's which pop up, they give you info about the ship. The ship by itself does not have cargo so in that sense those stats on the website are correct, however it does add this:
>CARGO CAPACITY 1440 SCU (per optional cargo pod)
The cargo pods are modular and can be swapped out, so if you want to have a pure cargo ship you can have a total of 4320 freight units since it looks like you can have up to 3 pods.
They should make this info a bit easier to find though.
This is it, right? Off the first page of the Carrack browser game?
If that can really hold 4320 freight units, it's going to be very useful for the ship in a multi-purpose sense. I'm sure you might need other modules for long-term deep space exploration, but even one of those would put it within the same ballpark as what an Aquilla could haul, plus you wouldn't have to ditch the rover.
I really liked this image showing the scale of it. Just by it's description, stats, I wouldn't have guessed it was so large!
I really think they did a good job with the Carrack, and I envision it will be a very, very popular ship choice. Perhaps even most people's personal flagship!
